Product Information


There are two versions of the Dateq LPM 6 mixer, with and without the Pre Fade Listening (PFL) function to monitor a channel before opening the fader. They both have the same model number LPM 6 and can be identified by looking at the channel selector in the bottom right of the VU meters.

The Dateq DPM 6 is available in Black and Silver colored top plate.

Earlier than 1990Winking my eye. It was 1977 or 1987 I think. Little bit confused right now. De ones with only the black deckplate and grey bottoms and sides are de early models. (like on the picture). Ps the mixer on the picture is mine. The green stuff that you see on the front of the mixer is a school book:P. In real the sides are grey. Nice mixer to have in your room for show. Not very handy to mix with, because of the EQ that isn't there etc.

Alsno notice that the faders for this model aren't produced anymore, also the faderknobs. A nice set of these knobs is worth about 100 euro's or more! If you have some of this stuff you should be carefull with it....

I've restorated a 2 mixers of this kind. That was 10 years ago and even then the faders were not available anymore. You can restore them by drilling out the ribbons with M3 and clean and lubricate the fader from the inside and make sure you've got everything right.

Then mix up some 2 compenent glue and seal the fader. This should last a while...
