Cyspoz wrote on 21-05-2008 07:54very nice DJ-Booth. However you got me wondering what kind of music you play that you have 4 turntables in combination with a DJM-1000. Planning on adding an EFX-1000 or do you keep your set dry and natural?

bastianhecker wrote on 24-05-2008 12:54nice man, could you please reply at the questions cause i'm also very interested in the reason for having 4 tt's + djm1000 + cdj1000mk3!
Alex_Mg wrote on 25-05-2008 19:12Hi, the first of all thanks for your answers. My English is not good at all, I will try to explain the better I can.
Tt's: I have 4 because I didn't want to sell my mk2's. I love them, I think these model is the best of technics. Then I bought 3 years ago the M5G (I needed the +16% speed, the two MK2's have a resistor, I mix in 160-162 bpm). The GLD I bought in ebay (second hand but as new) with the ortofon gold inc. for 775 €. It was a great oportunity to have a limited edition.
The mixer: I bought it in ebay too, new for 1500 € (bargain). I had a Behringer DX1000 and I wanted to buy a Pioneer DJM-800, but I had the problem I couldn't connect the 4 Tt's. I found de DJM-1000 at 1500 € and I didn't think it two times to buy it. A friend made me an adaptor (jack --> 2 jacks) to connect two headphones for mix two at the same time.
The CDJ: I had before two CDJ-800, I bought them for 500 € each, and I bought the CDJ-1000. I use it for promos, songs are not released.
I mix hardstyle (SIGMA, BLUTONIUM, X-RATE...), UK hardhouse, and spanish dance, and I like too, elektro, minimal, techno, progressive, trance...
The turntables are modded (UV lights except gold model) and the MK2's painted in orange. In the MK2's I changed the arms, the piece of the strobe, start-stop, 33, 45 and the pop-up lights of 1210's MK5
