Ortofon CONCORDE SCRATCH

Ortofon makes a push in the hip-hop dj market with this cartridge that have specifically been designed with the scratch dj in mind. The Scratch cartridge is based on their popular DJS design, with significant improvements in several areas. It features the best skip resistance in the Ortofon line, and considerably decreases record wear. The output has also been bumped up from the DJS to 7.0mV, while maintaining the DJS' high sound quality. For now, Shure's M447 is still the hands down favorite for best scratch cartridge in terms of the lowest record wear and skip resistance, but if you want something a bit more rugged with better sound quality, the Ortofon Scratch is it. Comes with one extra stylus, which offsets your initial cost.
