An another thing to JJenz

i spent 2500 euros to get this used xone V6!!! But my whole set up, is cheaper and do approximatly the same than a djm 800 or 2000 and Two CDJ 2000 !!!! except for the effects section but i hope serato will improve the effects in the future !!!!
Flag Bartmixer wrote on 03-05-2010 17:56
Thank you for all your comments !!!!

Perhaps one day i'll hope to get gold limited technics decks !!!!!!

The reasons that i've changed for the xone V6 from the DJM 800, are first :

i love the old vintage electronics from the 70's, i got several stereo amplifier Marantz Kenwood Onkyo Luxman i collect them, it's crazy i know !!!!

Second

The xone V6 is a unique mixer, to own one it's a privilege, and its worth will be always superior as any standard mixer like pioneer DJM 800 or 2000....

Third : I collect a lot of disco and funky record 33rpm, i only play them at home, and it's the perfect way, and when i do a gig, i ripp and i use my serato SL3, and that's too, the perfect way, to doesn't damage them !!!?
And the Valves are the best experience to give warm on the digital way !!!!!

Fourth : I like to disturb kindly the young DJ, while a gig, who want to mix on my sound system, they loose their practice because they got a djm or something like that.....

Fifth : You found me crazyConfused? Yes i am LOL Thumbs Up
Flag JJenzz wrote on 03-05-2010 17:05
why give so much money for a mixer that has ... nothing but only the best quality.
I mean you can buy a djm 2000 for that or something
Flag Mixt-Ape wrote on 03-05-2010 16:50
You could argue that he uses digital inputs anyway (Traktor) but as he stated on DJF, he also spins REAL vinyl. That's exactly where this V6 can be used to its true potential.
Flag Estacy wrote on 03-05-2010 16:31
:p what a question. Who needs crappy digital stuff if you've got a mixer filled with valve amps?
Flag Ilja wrote on 03-05-2010 15:37
Dude can you explain me 1 thing, ?why do you change your DJM 800 for this XONE ? ?Why is this xone better ?
Flag Dav3 wrote on 03-05-2010 07:52
Nice setup man !
Flag Estacy wrote on 03-05-2010 12:02
thats definately a 10! the only thing that could possibly improve the booth, are MK5Gs.
Flag Ziax wrote on 04-05-2010 22:50

@Ziax

love the technics!Cool

My father has an old Luxman Amplifier with 2 Bowers & Wilkins speakers...
The luxeman has some sort of lamps in it, wich you can see glowing when it's working for a long time.

The sound of the old amplifiers can not be beaten by the digital amp's. The sound form the old amp's is brighter and warmer.
i like it...

Oh Nice set by the way... the LED's are nice on the desk. and the Db bars are more often on dj booth's, i like that

Flag Ziax wrote on 05-05-2010 09:19

I thik you mean the tubes and not the lamps, because triods are a little bit different from lamps, and soundboards electrostats? i got a marantz amp and? i love it. knocks out every skyteck amp. I just have to get other speakers
