Today Pioneer DJ announced the successor of the XDJ-RX3, the Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3. This product is an improved version of his predecessor with a load of new features.

XDJ products are All-in-Ones, this means that with the XDJ-RX3 you can play music from a USB device, from the computer with Rekordbox in Export Link mode or you can use the XDJ-RX3 as a controller for Rekordbox DJ (Performance Mode). Serato DJ Pro will be supported from 2022.

The first thing you will notice is the large 10.1” touch screen (The RX2 has a 7” screen) that gives you comparable information as the CDJ-3000.

Features

-    Touch Preview, (in Browse screen) to pre-listen tracks by touching the Waveform without the need to load the track.
-    Playlist Banks, comparable with the Playlist Palette in Rekordbox. These are shortcut buttons directly to a playlist for quick switching.
-    Performance Pads status indicated on the display to show the effects and timings of each button
-    Release FX, 8 different ways for a breakdown of a playing track.
-    6 new Beat FX (Pingpong, Filter, Slip Roll, Vinyl Brake and Helix) and 2 new Color FX (Space and Crush) in comparison to the RX2.
-    Beat FX Bank, put Beat FX, including time setting, to a button so they can be activated from the touch screen without the need to use the select rotary.
-    X-pad control for timing and parameters of the Beat FX on the touchscreen.
-    Jog LCD (2.7'') shows track info or album artwork.
-    Phrase Display below the waveform to show the tracks building blocks.
-    3Band Waveform Display, shows the waveform in 3 colors divided by frequency range (blue is sub, orange for midtones and white for the higher frequencies)
-    Timers for recording time or countdown timer (for example for new years moment).
-    Mixer settings in the Shortcut Menu.
-    ProDJ Link via USB cable.
