On October 18th, 19th and 20th, Red Bull Studio Amsterdam hosts three workshop sessions with ADE attending artists: Revealing studio secrets, explaining techniques, tip's and tricks and do's and dont's. These are not your run of the mill artists: We proudly present Legowelt, Clone x Rush Hour ft. Serge & Antal and Gerd & Dexter.Save Changes

Thursday 18/10: Legowelt takes you by the hand on a Disco-very rout through the studio. Releasing music under numerous aliases since 1996, Legowelt is one of the most prolific producers coming out of the Netherlands. Besides playing gigs all over the world, he hosts the weekly Astro Unicorn Radio Show under his Smacko alias on Intergalactic FM.

Friday 19/10 is the session of Clone x Rush Hour ft. Serge and Antal, head honchos of the two world renowned record labels/stores and both diggers extraordinaire. No studio tricks here:? They will talk about running a label and store in these turbulent times in the music industry.

Saturday 20/10 will have Gerd & Dexter giving a masterclass. Like Legowelt, these cats are both extremely prolific: Gerd with his label 4Lux and as any of his numerous aliases like Geeeman, Literon, Machine Shop, Metro Dade, NY Stomp, Stereo Twins & White Knights since 1994. Dexter burst onto the scene with 'Intruder' on his own Klakson label in 2001 and has since claimed his name with releases on Clone amongst others.

Several ADE club nights will be recorded for RBMA Radio Nights: Red Bull Music Academy presents Kompakt showcase at Melkweg, Green Room at Studio K, Clone x Delsin x Rush Hour at Trouw and Audio Culture at ClubUp. These recordings will be available for streaming at rbmaradio.com after Amsterdam Dance Event.

For the latest issue of EIGHT magazine, eight artists were invited to the Red Bull Studio Amsterdam to create art and music at the same time, inspired by one and another.All works will be exhibited at the ADE Festival Lounge at Stanislavski, get your free copy there!
