Pioneer?s CDJ2000 and CDJ-900 are once again breaking new ground, with the release of firmware that adds extra features and complete compatibility with the next generation of Pioneer DJ products.

The CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900?s excellent operability and dazzling array of features have helped them to become a club standard since their release in September 2009. Now this new free firmware brings them bang up-to-date to further meet the demands of the evolving professional DJ.

Pioneer has increased the accuracy of the loop function with a QUANTIZED BEAT LOOP and added a UTILITY DUPLICATION for efficient copying of settings across players. Plus PRO DJ LINK1 enables the transmission of rekordbox? BEATGRID and BPM information to the DJM-900 Nexus mixer via a LAN cable ? to unlock a host of beat effects and further enhance the DJing experience.

KEY FEATURES OF THE UPGRADE

QUANTIZED BEAT LOOP function increases the accuracy of loop performance
This new function automatically syncs with the beat grid ? even when the beat is changed in succession ? making precisely timed loops everytime.Plus the AUTO BEAT LOOP function found on the CDJ-900 will now be available on the CDJ-2000 with this upgrade, enabling DJs to play back loops at a specified number of beats.

PRO DJ LINK sends BEATGRID and BPM data to the DJM-900 Nexus mixer
PRO DJ LINK allows DJs to send rekordbox? BEATGRID and BPM information to the new DJM-900nexus digital mixer via a LAN cable2, from where accurate BEAT EFFECTS and other advanced performance features can be applied.

UTILITY DUPLICATION function for instant copying of player settings
The UTILITY DUPLICATION function can share UTILITY settings ? e.g. display and jog settings ? between up to four players, via LAN cable using PRO DJ LINK.

Improved TAG LIST usability for on the fly programming
The number of tracks DJs can spontaneously add to a playlist has been increased from 60 to 100, enabling even more potential for creativity. And now playlists can be saved to rekordbox? for editing and checking ? either during performance or on a computer.
