The Danger Global Warming Project is a groundbreaking multimedia initiative designed to raise awareness of climate change worldwide and encourage the public to 'get stuck in' by contributing their own creative ideas to the project's online gallery.

Featuring completely original images, music and video, this unique concept has been developed by The Blacksmoke Organisation, a respected multimedia art collective dedicated to the propagation of audio visual noise and inspired by global environmental events.

The Danger Global Warming Project is received contributions by and is supported by respected film makers (including Gus Van Sant, Darren Aronofsky, Mike Figgis), photographers (François Rousseau, William Wegman, Greg Gorman), actors (Gillian Anderson, Casey Affleck, Viggo Mortensen), artists (Andy Goldsworthy, Jamie Reid, Justin Bua), writers (Mark Z. Danielewski, Poppy Z. Brite, Christopher Rice) and more.

The project centers around original "Danger Global Warming" images created by invited artists and the general public, featuring specially manufactured biodegradable adhesive warning tape, clearly symbolic of personal action as a positive solution to climate change.

For the music content, an original theme track by The Blacksmoke Organisation features vocals by Hugh Cornwell (ex Stranglers) and is being remixed by world-respected producers, as an allegory for recycling. The recycled versions are being created in every conceivable musical style, including acoustic, ambient, lounge, house, techno, drum and bass, industrial and more from influential musicians around the world including Roger Sanchez, 4 Hero, Goldfrapp, Bill Frisell, Afrika Bambaataa, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Andrew WK and Clint Mansell. The diverse results will be made available as a download-exclusive album with a completely different track listing for each release territory.

Finally, music and image converge with exclusive music videos set to the project remixes and produced by influential film makers around the globe, including Tony Kaye (UK), Fabrice De Welz (Belgium), Thomas Frenzel (Germany), Jonas Bjerre (Denmark) and more.

The Danger Global Warming Project will debut in the UK this Summer. Leading up to the official launch, Stealth Records are proud to announce their support with the release of exclusive vinyl formats featuring select club remixes, each designed to ensure maximum worldwide DJ support. The 12” releases will be produced in a strictly limited edition vinyl-exclusive run, manufactured with recycled raw materials and individually numbered, making each copy unique! All revenues from the vinyl sales flow back into the project, making this a non-profit endeavour to increase worldwide awareness of climate change and inspire action.

Two initial EP's will be released by Stealth Records, each strictly limited to just 1500 vinyl copies worldwide and featuring club-friendly remixes by internationally renowned artists including Roger Sanchez, DJ Pierre, Afrika Bambaataa, Trentemøller, Paul Mac and more.
