Update BPM Studio
From now on BPM-Studio 4.9.8 Pro und Standard are available for free download for all registered users. With this update we fix several bugs which where reported during the last time. For example there was a problem loading tracks in the CD-Player, noise in the loop sampler and so. Please take a look at the online history for more details.

Furthermore all BPM Studio versions are now available in Vista compatible versions. From now on all BPM Studio orders will be shipped as Vista Ready Version. Customer who have purchased an BPM Studio full version after january 1st 2007, can request a cost free upgrade directly from AlcTech. All other customers can purchase an upgrade in our Webshop.

Purchase Upgrades
The upgrade for Windows Vista contains some additional functionality. For example we have included a completely new CD-Writer library which now supports not only ASPI but also SPTI, ASPI is no longer available under Vista. The new library supports generally all devices, even USB and Firewire device. The CD-Writer library is of course also available for separate purchase for customers who don't need the Vista upgrade right now.

As additional value for the Windows Vista upgrade we have added a new High Quality Mastertempo function (Pro Version only). Customers who purchase the Vista Upgrade can of course use the new functionality under all supported operating systems, for example Windows XP. Except that hundrets of internal functions have been changed to be compatible with Windows Vista and the new user account control

Please note that you can expect a few incompatiblities under Vista. You should carefully check if your hardware is supported by Vista and if drivers are available for all devices. Our tests where delayed over and over again because of new incompatiblites, changes and so on. You also should not use BPM Studio with Vista directly in live sessions. You should first check carefully if the system is stable and if all parts work perfect together or if there are driver compatiblity problems. Beyond that you will need some time to learn new functions of Vista like the user account control and so on. For testing purpose we have also a Vista compatible demo version for free download.
