CLUB VISUALS is a captivating collection of live video and computer animation that moves to a steady beat of 128bpm. These exclusive clips are beat-matched and flawlessly mixed just like a DJ set. You can play them one by one or play the whole DVD, which auto loops back to the beginning. Far more than a collection of loops, every clip evolves and tells a story the way a record does. A click-track makes synchronizing audio and video easier than ever.

The introduction of pitch controlled DVD-turntables revolutionized the DJ-industry. It gives DJ’s the ability to control the visual aspect of their performance, in perfect sync with the audio, paving the way for a new breed of performer - the DVJ. Finding visual content is challenging though. With the exception of music videos there isn’t much out there: the few available visual DVD’s are geared towards VJ’s: repetitive low-res clips that don’t sync to a beat.

DJ’s such as James Zabiela and Sander Kleinenberg are creating their own content or hire visual artist’s to do it for them. But few DJ’s have those kinds of skills or resources. That's how the idea for DVJ Vision was born:
  • Make quality visuals, the type you would see in the best clubs in the world available to everyone
  • Provide content, where all copyrights have been cleared and that does not contain logo's or credits
  • Make the visuals DJ-friendly: synced to a steady beat (no tempo-changes), a click-track for easy mixing and easy to cue
  • Provide the user with the ability to play the clips individually or non-stop (with the last clip looping back to the beginning)
  • Create content that flows and tells a story like a DJ-set: intro’s, outro’s, major changes happen every four bars or multiples thereof

Club Visuals contains 6 clips and is 42 min long. The DVD is available in NTSC and PAL at www.dvjvision.com for $34.99.

Club Visuals 1 is the first release of DVJ Vision. Club Visuals 2 and other DVD's for DVJ's are in the works.
