hey out there,

I have decided to reorganize my cd collection in order to get an better overview of all my songs. To take my cds out I use an udg wallet. Now my question is how you organize your cds and which programm you use to put a paper sheet in front of every cd so you can see immediatelly which songs are on there or analyzing bpm.
It would be grea if this program also can export the selected files to a text document so that it is ready to print.
I know that mixmeister offers a freeware program for that use but does any one know any other freeware program for my need. then I could try out different ones...

Respones in English would be great Cry.

thx to everyone....have a nice day!!!

What do you think about cd organization ??

When you want automatical BPM measurements, Mixmeister is the way to go. No other program can do automatic folder measuring...

Getting the pieces of paper is a manual job. I'm not aware of any software that's capable of doing so.

Let me tell you my way, perhaps it's of any help.

I use a DJM for BPM measurement, I've tried Mixmeister but found out the manual measuring/tapping works smoother in the whole process. I then edit the filename of the WAV to this format : 'BPM Artist - title '.WAV.

The WAV files are sorted in folders. I burn each folder with Nero and use Nero's build in Cover Designer to print the sleeve. The final result looks like :

And for certain types of music an indication of the tempo (BPM) is not neccessary as nearly all tracks are about the same speed (Electro and Hardstyle for example).

there is another program called mixed in key that can do folder measuring. this one can calculate the key and bpm of a track. works almost the same as mixmeister's software you can select a place where you wanna put the information filename or id3 tag etc.
