Welcome, I'd definitely go for the tabletops, as you work in a shop you can easily test both out, and take my word for it (i've owned both); tabletop is MUCH nicer to work on than a twin deck such as the CMX. Personally, the DJM400 wouldn't be my choice in that price range, but i'd rather go for the new Synq-SMX2 as you are doubling up on a lot of features with a CDJ200/DJM400 combo. Plus, the synq allows for future expansion as well whilst the DJM does not. If you've got a tiny bit more money to spend (say 100 quid above your budget), take a look at the Allen&Heath Xone:32, great mixer with filter, amazing faders, and in the UK A&H is the brand you will come across in clubs more often than Pioneer.
