ive saved some money up to buy a new dj cd player and i have a choice between a cdj-400 or mep-7000
which one do you think i should get ? any why ?

When you can afford 2 cdj 400 i would choose them but a mep 7000 is also a good choice but i think that is better for on the road in a nice flightcase ( maybe in combination with djm 3000/5000 )
