Adrien1989 wrote on 27-02-2008 18:44Nice, why the djm700 and not the 800?
Glorious-D wrote on 27-02-2008 18:51nice booth :P the same question as adrien1989 : why the djm 700 and not the 800 ?
MoXeGy wrote on 27-02-2008 18:52nice, cute cdj's :P

DomParker wrote on 27-02-2008 18:58@ Xitrate: Love it. the frequency filter is really versatile and can make the effects a whole lot more subtle and interesting when you only apply them to specific frequencies. Its a good solid mixer and i honestly haven't discovered any real drawbacks with it yet! The only thing i would really like to see on the next model would be the harmonic rotary knob thats on the 800. Despite that, I highly, highly recommend it.
@ Adrien: Basicly just price. It got to the point where i had been saving for so long i couldn't justify saving the extra money, when you are getting basically just the colour effects extra. The 700 works nicely as a bedroom mixer anyway for the moment :D
DomParker wrote on 27-02-2008 18:59lol, yea moxegy they do look a bit dwarfed by the 700. They had all i needed for imputs though

FreakT wrote on 27-02-2008 19:58very nice, ever used midi or usb yet?
robbert wrote on 27-02-2008 19:49Wow awesome mixer, matches great with the new cdj-400's!
DomParker wrote on 27-02-2008 19:25lol. cheers lead, i must sound like a really patriotic british guy, i really don't care i promise :D And sorry about the double upload, didn't realise
Yea i left some thoughts hidden in the comment to Xitrate ^^ GREAT peice of kit :D
PS i did sort the cables out after the picture thankfully, it really is in a mess in the picture!
Lead wrote on 27-02-2008 19:13Hi Dom, try logging out and in again, this should re-check your IP to determine the flag that should belong to it.
I've removed your other pic from this section of the website (it's still in your album offcourse) as only 1 picture should be added here. We've created a link below each dj-booth too jump directly to your album if people want to see more.
Your booth could use some cable management though... but how do you like the
DJM-700 ?
DomParker wrote on 27-02-2008 21:03@ Freak: not yet im afraid. Will deffinately when i get time at the weekend though so i'll repost then with some comments

Looks nice dude. What do you play? I used to have a djm 600 and 2xcdj800, but not matching size of mixer and cd players was realy drive me crazy, so I sold my 2xcdj800. Do you plan in the future to change your cd players on 1000mk3's.
Xtremer wrote on 28-02-2008 11:05Very nice! I like the DJM with the CDJ's

wizkid wrote on 28-02-2008 12:39why are the faders and buttons in different colors

? very nice booth
bastianhecker wrote on 28-02-2008 17:05@wizkid: it isn't what is seems, must be something with color change i guess.
Nice mixer and cool cdj's. I really like that pioneer on the front of the mixer nice! Have fun with it!:D
DomParker wrote on 28-02-2008 21:05@ wizkid: yea like bastian said its actually just a shadow on some of the rotary knobs and channel faders. Does look convincing though!
@yevgen: i play quite an eclectic mix ranging from underground trance, to cheesy comercial house and pretty much everything in between. At the moment i would say i go for uplifting trance, hard house and funky house the most though. :D To be honest im quite happy with the 400s and don't think i will bother to upgrade to the 1000s till the 400s start having problems and i have enough money!
@ Bastian: oh believe me i will!

JollyJunkie wrote on 01-03-2008 17:59Nice booth but why... not pay a litlle bit more for a DJM-800?
Twello wrote on 01-03-2008 19:33Nice booth

what do you think about the faders in the DJM-700?
DomParker wrote on 01-03-2008 19:38@twello: thanks very much. The faders are fine, pretty much the same as any other pioneer mixer; had you heard something about the faders?
djfuse wrote on 01-03-2008 21:57nice booth

do you like the cdj 400

DomParker wrote on 02-03-2008 12:31@ fuse: yea it does what i need it to. the only thing i would want extra would be a wave display but you can't have everything can you!
