I've got the CX1100 myself and must say Rodec is sweeeeeet
Did you just buy this mixer? Why did you replace your Nuo 5 with this one? The Nuo 5 can offer you much more than this Rodec as this one has no effects on it.
And with some extra equipment like cd-players, PC etc it is easily filled.

The sound quality is very very good, not like the nuo anyway. The nuo as more mid and high when the rodec is more "punchy". Different sound, but good quality both of them.
To freezer, i'm mixing House, a bit a progressive too.
The effect on the nuo was good (when they work) but i didn't use them so much...
