Hey guys. I have been computer mixing forever with Traktor and Virual DJ, so i figured i had better step up to a proper setup. Got a good deal on the DJM, and the Stntons were free! Second hand, not overly worn, and FREE!
I'm using Ableton for some original work, and ACID for mashups.
DJ Gear in use
Pioneer CDJ 800 MkII
Pioneer CDJ 800 MkII
Pioneer DJM 600
Stanton DJ Pro 3000
Ableton 5 ACID 5 Traktor 2

Twizz wrote on 26-07-2006 16:48very nice! which monitors and which headphones do you use?
Louie_21 wrote on 26-07-2006 17:09Ey the Stanton's are solid cans!! They fit well and the sound on them is great. They have tight isolation and the HP and LP filter on them work well on tough mixes or when you have crappy booth monitors.

Winston wrote on 29-07-2006 02:11Nice set. Did you have a hard time adjusting from PC mixing to mixing with real DJ gear? What brand / model speakers do I see in your pic?
IbiziX wrote on 29-07-2006 12:19nice, very very nice :d
and i love computer mixing :p
Louie_21 wrote on 31-07-2006 03:42They are only Logitech Computer/mp3 speakers. They are decent quality, and the sub gives them enough kick for my house.
I use a JBL PA whenever i play at a party.
Te change from PC mxing to decks was a breeze. I found it to be easire to be honet. To be able to grab the music, and deal with a real mxer and CD players is much better imo.

Reemz wrote on 10-08-2006 12:08Great set-up!
Yesterday I received the same logitech soundset as you. I'm very amazed about the power of this set.
So for everyone: If you don't have the money for a professional monitoring set this is a perfect alternative.
