Pioneer recently launched their new active speakers, the S-DJ05. These powered speaker sound good and have a very nice remote control unit for easy use.
So you don't need to fiddle on the speaker if you want to change any of it's functions or most importantly, the Volume.

This unboxing video will show you everything that is in the box, how it looks unwrapped.

Also you will see how to connect everything to a DJM-2000 in my case....

... and most important I turn them on at the end

Pioneer has recently launched their HDJ-2000 headphones and one of the selling points is the the most important parts of the headphone are made of metal (magnesium). 

Some people do not believe that this is true...

To show the heat of the soldering welt I had at hand I hold the welt on the play button of a DVJ-1000. When I scratch of the paint you can clearly see the gloss that only real metal would show before it is exposed to air and a dull oxide layer form.

Here is the proof...

As CD Players become much more mini-computers with all their features and gadgets it can happen that it's firmware needs updating.

This is a very easy process on the Pioneer CDJ-series. Here is a short clip (just over 1 minute) that shows how this 2-step process is done. The buttons you need to press vary if you have a different model CDJ (CDJ-1000mk3 you need to hold Reloop/Exit to enter update mode)

The Pioneer CDJ400 multi media DJ player is a very universal DJ CD player that can also act as MIDI controller for computer software. The CDJ-400 also has USB connectivity so you can play MP3 music from any USB storage device. (no rekordbox yet).

I give you an overview from most of the features and functions of this player, including video of how to change the jog template.

Pioneer DJM-700 has a lot of filters and effects, in this video I will show you some examples of what can be done with these effects.
This is not meant to be a performance demonstration, but much more an explination of all of the effects.

It also shows how the Filters and Effects together have endless possiblitities.

This is the Pioneer CDJ-800MK2, a professional DJ player. Most of the things I show here also work on other Pioneer products so if you see a familar button, try it.

Some of the things you'll see : Reading discs, Looping, Auto Looping, Loop devider and much more.

A demonstration of pretty much all features of this DJ CD player. Made by Lead for DJResource 2006, there where not that much product review videos around.

I show you all features of the CDJ-1000MK3, but you could also look at this as a generic Pioneer CDJ demo video as most of the functions work on most of the Pioneer CDJ players.

This video gives you a demonstrations of all the filters and effects that you can use on the Pioneer DJM-800 DJ mixer like: Echo, Flanger, Delay and Roll. Also all the sound Color FX (manual filters) are shown.

For each of the Effects and Filters I give at least one example how the effect sounds, you need to apply this to your own style of music and mixing.

Reupload of my CDJ-200 demonstration video, originaly released in march 2005 as one of the earliest dj product demonstration videos. Also it was my very first product demonstration video I recorded.

The CDJ-200 was a popular small DJ cd player with 3 filter-like effects, some loop functions and a lot more as you can see in this video.
