Citronic SM500

The Citronic SM500 Ultima is the first mixer in the new Ultima range. Based on the SM450 it comes with enhanced features: the dual microphone facility features a comprehensive mic override system ideal for radio microphones, 3-band EQ, balanced and unbalanced inputs as well as individual on-air buttons. There are four CD, three Line and three Phono inputs routed to the four heavy duty music input faders via input gain, and shared EQ controls for level matching. Channels 1 and 2 share a 3-band equalizer, as do 3 and 4, which is then routed to their respective ends of the on-board VCA crossfader.

The SM-FX500 Ultima is a 4-channel 19' rack mixer with a built-in DSP. Its compact 5U design includes features normally found in higher-priced units. Designed with both small installations and mobile DJs in mind, it has three microphone inputs, two of which are controlled with the dedicated mic channel and one assigned to the fourth channel as a switchable option. Mics 1 and 2 share a 3-band EQ and mic override system. Each of the four music channels has an individual gain control and 3-band EQ offering +10dB of Boost and -30dB of Kill. Each channel is also easily assignable to the crossfader A or B. The unit has a built in digital signal processor offering eight effects which are assignable to each music channel, microphone channel, master or crossfade A or B. The effects are linked to the mixers built in BPM counter to allow the DJ to Beat-Sync the effects at the touch of a button.
