The Pioneer DDJ-ERGO-V controller is designed for use with Virtual DJ Software of a computer via USB MIDI. The license for VDJ is included with the DDJ-ERGO-V. The DDJ-ERGO-V can be used to control 4 decks in VDJ, it can also be used to control the Video Mode of VDJ.

The hardware layout mimics that of Pioneer DJs professional line up CDJ/DJM. Controls can be found on roughly the same place as on the club Industry Standard setup.

The fader caps have Pioneers new P-Lock system, preventing the caps from flying around when using the controller a bit to rough in the heat of the moment

Illumination
Beat Pulse in the Fader strip, the strength of the light reflects the audio output level.
Launch Pulse shows a light travel effect over all buttons after loading a track to the deck where it is loaded.
FX Pulse around Jogwheel indicating different effects (if activated)
Mix Pulse will flash the jog blue when beat is not in sync, darker blue indicates a match
