The Pioneer DVJ-X1 is Pioneers first video mix product and it was a revolution at it's time. Never before was it possible to manipulate a DVD in real time just like a CD.
Build on the foundation of the Pioneer CDJ-1000MK2, the DVJ-X1 has realtime pitch control, pitch bend and scratch with DVD... and CD offcourse.
Successor : Pioneer DVJ-1000
The DVJ-X1 has all the video outputs you want (Composite, Component, S-Video) and can stand in for a CDJ in a DJ setup as it works exactly the same.
As a way to use a DVJ in a DJ setup, Pioneer also launched the Pioneer VSW-1 video switch. The VSW-1 switches between 2 video inputs of any format (composite, Component, S-Video) and sends it out in the format needed. The VSW also had inputs for faderstart cables from a Pioneer mixer so the video can automatically follow the audio.
