There is not yet much information on the site, but all streams work great. If everything should go right you should be starting in a few second.... I'm curious (now hearing CeCe Paniston)

Tisn't so hard to set up a shoutcast server these days. And as I said before, a Dj-Resource stream would definately be cool. The Dj's on this forum could send a set in and be scheduled to stream on a later date. You have to imagine that you don't need a bitrate of 192 kb/s if you're streaming, so a DJ could send his 60 minutes mix in a mp3 file of around 50 mb (vbr 96 kbps).
There should be some computergeek like me who actually has something like this before, is affiliated with this site and has a good upstream internetconnection and a little computer with linux to host the shoutcast-server...
But I've also thought about the traffic it will generate...
The idea is great and storage space is no problem, but I'm afraid it will cause a huge traffic and that's an expensive good...
The traffic won't be your only problem I think. Did you also think about the copyright-payments to BUMA Stemra? It's simple to set-up, but it can get very expensive when they catch you and you didn't pay the rights.
Op maandagavond staat nu het Snolz uurtje in de programmering, ik ben 50% van de Snolz. Het is er nog niet van gekomen maar we willen kijken of we iedere maandagavond een live setje ten gehore kunnen brengen.
It's just what you say, the traffic is one of the problems, clearing is another issue.... but are there allready fee's made for broadcasting on the internet, because I can assume that it's difficult.
What area are you supplying and how much people are listening, 2 important facts that are part of the total fee you have to pay....

Ok I'm sorry since there were 2 languages in this topic, as I said but now in English:
On monday the one hour of Snolz power in the scheduke, I'm 50% Snolz. In the near future we want to broadcast every monday evening a fresh techno live set on Superstar.
And how do you think a caf? handles the buma/stemra or a place like the 013, Tilburg or Danssalon, Eindhoven? Or what about Radio Rijnmond, Rotterdam or even better: radio Decibel, Nuenen?
If you play a lot of music, Buma/Stemra has special arrangements for that. Looks like someone has to investigate this. I don't think we'll have more listeners than radio Decibel and I have the idea that live365.com for example has a arrangement with Buma/Stemra -like agencies throughout the world.
Unlike most Internet radio Web sites, Live365 does not program the content. Instead, we've created a simple software program that allows a music fan to create a legal Internet radio station.
This means we, as DJ Resource can upload our mixtapes of +- 60 minutes to live365 and they will play it for us, on our channel - which we can make a link to. Completely legal. Of course, it would be best if we publish the playlist onsite here. And mixtapes of 60 minutes is exactly what we would want to be broadcasting here - first DJ A, then DJ B, then DJ C - woohah!
Only downside is that 365 'only' allows 365 users. Oh no, this used to be the case...
Another thing: what about the mixtapes that we can download on this page? Are those legal then?
