CDJ800MK2 Modification

   

Hello i've seen the modification of CDJ1000MK2 for the play button looks like dvj..

Since i am an owner of a CDJ800MK2 can i modify the play and/or cue buttons to be like the cdj1000 ?

isn't the cdj1000 play button bigger then the 800's? then I think not, but I could be wrong

Nope, they're the same size.

Really want to know that too, would be quite cool, to have blue leds around my cue/play buttons.

@ Aemilius, no because if you look at the cdj 1000, there is a visible circle around the button where the blue or yellow or orange or green light comes from, the cd j800 doesn't have that, only in the cue and play/pause sign.

so it's not possible with the cdj 800

There's enough space around the button to put a 'lightbar' around it, just like the 1000's have. I really think this is possible, but Lead can help us out with this one, I think.

@ daroyal: yes there is enough space, but with a cdj 1000 the light is coming from a light circle, not from under the frame is you know what i mean. en that special circle the cdj 800 doesn't have.

het is jammer dat er geen zwarte cdj-800 bestaat... die zou denk best goed verkopen...
en als daar dan van die ringen opzitten dat zou dan helemaal uber zijn... maarja helaas..

its to bad that there doesnt exist a black cdj-800..... i think it would sell pretty good....
and if they put those rings from the cdj-1000 on the cdj-800 that would be neat... but unforunatley....

This modification looks great, but you will loose warenty if you open the cdj. Keep that in mind.
