Well, I've been borrowed my pair of 200's for a disco, and the idiot that was playing with them, dropped beer in the CDJ, and the led's of the jog aren't working, the jog isn't working either. When you turn clockwise, the speed goes down, and vice-versa.

I've opened the CDJ, and cleaned the internal parts, but it didn't work.

first of all. demand money from the person that caused this. then take it back to a certified pioneer dealer

Jup do that first. He did it to your cd-player. But don't tell the pioneer dealer that you opened the cd-player by yourself.

i would never borrow my cdj 200 ( in my case 800 ). because you can predict that this would happen. but never the less, it is a shame and you should ask (A LOT) of money from him :P.
good luck

They will see..
there's an Seal on the inside..
The Warranty will be over after you break it ..

The warranty doesn't exist anymore since 2005 I think..And they paid me $600 (Here I can't buy a new with it but..)

But the warranty will not exist in anyway if the damage is caused by myself, will it?

I can't imagine that it's not possible to replace a led Cry

Perhaps you coud ask another dealer and see what he says
thtanaka    posted on 23-10-2007 20:53
But here, there's only 1 dealer close to me. It's impossible for me to go on another dealer now.

thtanaka    posted on 23-10-2007 21:13
Do they have assistence on the Latin America?
Sammow    posted on 23-10-2007 21:30
I don't know but that's not needed, an e-mail can fly pretty far these days :D
thtanaka    posted on 23-10-2007 23:28

A good service point can fix anything. Basically said, a LED needs power to light up, with the scematics you can trace back (while measuring) where the problem originates. This is something you'll probably cannot do yourself without proper knowledge of electronics.

A service centre should be able to point you in the right directions. Without examining the device it's hard to judge what the problem is.

The only thing I can come up with is checking all flexible connections. Sometimes when a machine has been opend people are not carefull enough and the flat cables get (partly) disconnected, or are not straight connected.
Let the BASS be louder

But when I sent it to the dealer, they also check all the connections of the CDJ. But I don't know why they didn't changed the led's, but changed the Jog (internal). I think they didn't have the properly equipment to check all the boards. (they are a Pioneer electronics assistence only)
