There are so many award shows, never heard about this i think te dj mag top dj list is the award you can get as a dj.

Best party? Come on, there are better party's over the world! Like Global Gathering, Nature One, Dance Valley, ect., ect.

And so on for some of the other awards.

What is wrong with commercial?? We're all try to make some money while doing the thing we love to do. Everybody is like, "i wanna have the underground sh*t" but if it's underground and the population loves it, the chances are that it will become commercial. For example, way back in the old days, when I was young I listened to the Wu - tang clan, at that time I was living in America and their album 36 chamber was supposed to be underground, but when I came back to the Netherlands everybody was familiar with the WTC and everywhere you went there was WTC with C.R.E.A.M. After that they became famous, rolled up another fat-one and laughed their rears off. Why? Because they stayed real, underground sound.....yeah right.

I think Miss Kittin should win something, Vitalic and Martin Solveig also.

we are not against the commercial music, it´s good to make a sound which reach a larger  number of people!  It´s  a great thing for me, and with commercial prods we can "convert" a lot of people from other musical spheres like rock or hiphop!
So, the problem is just that there is many "underground" DJs who are making a great music and deserve recognition from a larger public.
