The mixer can be from another trademark then your cd players, that's no problem at all!

the differences between the mixers will depend on how much you want to pay for a mixer, because you get what you pay for Thumbs Up

NO it doesn't matterWinking my eye.

You can just get equipment from other trademarks. It will all work with eachother!

there can be a problem if you want to use the "fader start"
I have a Technics SH-MZ 1200 and the faderstart doesn't work on my cdj's 1000 mk3. but effects are not a problem.

my faderstart with CDJ800mk2 and RMX40 mixer works just fine. so its not always a problem. really depends on wether the mixer has a faderstart on it.

But i would rather choose  Numark cd players and Pioneer mixer, because the mixers of Pioneer are better.
