Hi everyone, Just bought my new 2 x CDJ 1000 MKIII , and everything is great about these babies except the pitch control . I used to have 2 x CDJ800 first version , and i can tell that their pitch is much more stable and accurate than the 1000's !!! Does anyone experience the same problem i have ? coz usually , when you play house music , on the 1000's , the beat matching wont stay more than? 45 seconds ( 131 bpm) without acting on the platter to pitch bend , a case that i didnt have on the 800's !!! Just as a hint , im? using the pitch resolution of +- 10
What do you think about Pitch control on Pioneers CDJ 1000 MKIII ??

Well , im not quiet sure about that . To be realistic, the pitch is very good on house music and electro , but its not as stable as the 800's ( first release) when you mix 80's disco style . Besides, the pitch slider is looser than the slider on the CDJ 800. Can anyone give me a hint about the maximum time that you got for beat matching without acting on teh platter to pitch bend ? i've been djying since 1994 , and im a turntablist so , beast matching is a piece of cake to me , but on the CDJ 1000 MKIII, i didnt get to have more than 1 min of constant beat matching without acting on the platter. For instance on DENON DNS 3500, i played the same songs and i got a stable beat matching time of almost 2 min!!!!
Aha, now you're talking paulo77!! what is your problem....very simpel. I do 80's disco mixing too on some occasions. But the ploblem is not the CDJ, It is the music itself!! The tempo on 80's disco tracks changes all though the record. You can not beatmatch the next track 2 minutes in advance because the tempo(pitch) has changed a lot in those 2 minutes. That is the problem my friend. I have that problem too but it lies with the tracks and not on the CDJ's.
greets, steve
