I am 36 years old and coming from Danmark. This is my first topic and would like to say hello.
First of all would like to say i'm not so good to english, but would try .
My interest for music and dj'ing is very long, i preffer trance, psytrance, techtrance...
I was thinking to buy pioneer 2x cdj 200 and pioneer djm 400. Would like booth some are good quality and would offer money for real stuff. Hope this one is good for begginer like me? Would not change mixer and cd player's after 1-2 years, that's why would have something wich work good.
Would like to know what you guys think about this?

Pioneer is good for all kinds of music.

The gear that you're planning to buy is for me the best gear possible for a starting DJ. If you buy that Pioneer system you will have LOTS of with it, No doubt about it. haha
I think that our big chief around here (Lead) agrees with me .

Hello! THANKS to ALL.  Really nice too se all of you people wishing me good staying here. Thanks. So, you guys think i should go and buy this gear? I have been for the last many days on www and have take looking around on different reviews and demo's. All i can say is: WONDERFULL.
I will be onest with you, i have also thinking on DJM 800 and CDJ 1000 MK2. But i think i should wait for some expensive gear for now? I have been producing music for the last four years and got some gear at home, but never spinning real, like hands on. Did buy some mixer wich was very cheap at that time and some cd players wich is not so good at all for some real mixing. I know i'm to old for some real gigs, but for bedroom dj i think djm 400 and cdj 200 is worth a money? Don't you think?

I'd say, go for it!

I think a CDJ1000 would be too much for a starter, I gave it a shot in the store before when I was looking for my first gear but it was too complicated (and expensive :p)

the gear u mentioned is perfect to start with, its quite good for the bedroom:P

you say you used to produce al lot in the past years, i'm curieus about your songs/tracks, can you post some of them, if its trance i'm intrested even more.
