Hi Lionel,
Welcom :D If you have any question... just throw 'm up
Hey lionel welcome here! I have the PSX as well! Its a good cd player, but it sucks when it comes down to scratching!
A good friend of mine uses the Pioneer 800 for scratching because the sound is really vinyl like! Same with the Denon and Pioneer 1000mk2!
Only the Denon has a spinning plate, and the pioneer stands still! So its what u prefer! But the pioneer 800 i think is the best value for money!
U have to match the differences in extra's i guess! Like for example the Mk2 has a wavetable, and the 800 doesnt. But i think when it comes down to quality, they are all pretty much the same.
I next week gonna buy the 800

Lionel,
I've fixed your avatar. Thanx for reporting. The
image size is 100x100 which should fit just in the site's allowed size.
Only the comparisson went wrong. This has now been fixed so you should
be able to change your avatar whenever you want.
CDJ-800 and CDJ-1000(mk2) do not have differences in sound quality. The price difference is because of the features and other display.
The Digital output from the CDJ-1000mk2 sounds best, by the way...
Thanx lead for fixinh my avatar....
N thanx 2 u too maveg for da advice.... I dnt think i will go in for da 800 player....
I am planning to go in for 1 1000mk2 n 1 DNS5000 so tht i get a good practice of both da types, moving n non moving platter so tht if i happen to have to perform on a denon at one place or a pioneer at another i should know the feel of both... As i said b4, i wanna all da different types n styles of djin...
What do u say Lead?? Is it a good idea??
Oh n one more thing... is the digital output used only for recording or canv use it for mixing at shows i never tried it becoz i dnt hav a mixer with a digital input.. so i wanna confirm it b4 purchasing a digital input mixer...
You idea sounds good. Allthoug I would want to have 2 the same decks...
The digita output on the Pioneer's a re Full Outputs. All sounds are fed through them, just as the normal output. So you can have digital sound with Pitch, Master Tempo or scratching on the CDJ's.
You can you
this when you would have something like the brand new DJM-1000. I've
tried it last week and using the digital inputs really made a diference.
