Need Help With Lighting for Show

   

I need some input ASAP from you guys on what I should rent TODAY for my show next week.

The room is 35'x55' not including the stage.

I will have one video screen up behind the booth. Also I plan to get a ten foot truss system to hang all the lighting. I'm looking for a decent setup that will provide enough lighting/entertainment for a crowd of about 300.

Scanners? Washes? Laser? Strobes?

And control? I'm not gonna have anyone available to do a DMX or anything. So I was thinking just a 4-channel foot pedal dimmer system.

My main concerns though are the lighting aspect.... I don't want too much, but I don't want to be short. Let me know what you guys think.

Oh yeah, the stage (where the booth will be) has some colored spots already.

I think you'll need at least a few scanners and maybe a laser. If u want a strobo, just buy/rent a good one, with alot of Watt's. Sorry for my English

I suggest you should rent:

- a nice strobe (about 3000watts)
- colored parcans a T4-bar maybe 2 so that you have 8 parcans
- some scans 2 or perhaps more if you want
- a good laser
- a big smokemachine or hazer

I think you will have a nice show then
