hey guys im just getting into the DJ world and i was wondering what type of speakers can i get that require no amp?

Yep, active speakers have an amplifier build in, so they don't require an aditional one. Brands that produce these speakers are for example Kling & Freitag, Mackie, KS and many more. Just ask your local sound-guy for an active speaker.
For bedroom use only you may like to use ordinary computer speakers with a subwoofer.

hehe, speakers that don't require an amplifier don't exist. There are speaker that have a build in amplifier (active speakers).
