Hi everybody, I've been working with a really non-professional equipment and become the time that quality and features keep holding my skills down
My actual equipment:
DJ Mixer(midi controller) : Behinger BCD-2000
Headphones : Sennheiser HD 202
Laptop Acer Turion 64, 1gb memory, 120gb of hard drive (running vdj/traktor)
generic speakers as monitor
Should I :
1. get a small keyboard like an oxygen, an AKG headphone and keep computer with the BCD ( ~U$ 200,00)
2. get a better mp3 computer mixer such as torq xponent or something like that and as money goes thats pretty much it.( ~U$ 600,00)
3. kick everything out wait longer save more money and start to play with 2 cdj-100 and an average mixer. ( ~U$ 700,00 )
4. work a lot on my patience, like a monk, wait even longer and buy 2 cdj-200 with a better mixer ($a lot of money)
Priorities
1. quality vs stability (dont have both from my actual system thats why im changing)
2. features (live creativity is cool)
3. skill vs money (I rather wait longer than be cheap if this is the best choice)
Anyone, everyone have some ideas to share Im open mind ... migration plans or ideas for cheap booths, Im just not a vynil fan, dont bother me burn 2 milions songs in cd or cdmp3s ... im still doing college so money is something that worries me and i do look for used stuff too if u guys have links will help ...
thanks!
