inst that where the Send & Return Knobs Come In ?

I Have never seen anybody hook up an EFX directly to a Fader,,
it is possible trough the Send&Return, so that you can activate it on any fader on the Mixer with just a Twist of a Knob! Happy, laughing

Well i have an EFX 500 hooked up to a channel on my xone :92
Mainly because the EQ on the channels is better then on the 2 return channels

You can do that. Use the Effects Loop Send Connectors to send the signal to the EFX 1000. Use one of the input channels for the returning signal.

Cyspoz, i did that it efx did come thrrew the channel but im getting a flangering or transforming sound the louder i make the channel with the return going to, now how to fix that?

if you have both channels open that's correct. The sound takes some time to travel thru the EFX and comes in a little later, hence the weird sound.
Just use 1 of the 2 channels and if you are on the EFX use the mix knob to select original or effect.

No I think I already know what goes wrong. The sound returning from the EFX on the channel is also send again to the EFX. You created a loop now. I checked on the website of your mixer and it seems you can't control what channels are send out to the EFX.
There is one option that might work but I can not tell since I don't have any schema of the mixer. Plug the returning signal from the EFX into an aux input. Maybe those aren't send to the effect loop, but don't think it will work. But you can give it a try if you wan't to.

May I ask what the reason was for hooking the EFX up on a channel? Maybe we can help you find an other solution.

Goodluck!

i wanted to have control over the delay or echo threw a channel on the rane so while im mixing i can use the knob for my efx instead of turning to the efx, i seen someone do it but it was on the steve dash 3700 mixer just curious if it was possible on the rane hence its also a knob mixer, thank you for your help i appreciate it though
