I am getting ready to buy a new mixer - and the person I was speaking with - who claimed to be a long-time DJ recommended the Tascam X-9 over the DJM-600 for two reasons - the most important he said was that the Tascam simply sounded way better.? Anyone have any thoughts?? I'll be running 2 CDJ-800s thru it......?? Thanks!

I don't really have experience with that mixer, I've checked it out though, but wasn't impressed because I don't like copy-cats (but that's a personal thing).
If you only use 2 CDJ's, why not going for the DJM-909 (at this moment, my favourite)... You've got lot's more effect, touchscreen controll and good sound quality...
Let the BASS be louder
