Hi there,
looking around the web I found this site very interesting Happy, laughing
Now a little about me. I was very busy playing in private party and disco between '91-'97 before decide to give up for a more stable work like a computer technician. But the flame of music passion never extinguished in me (in the meantime I continued to make some party just for friends with my inseparable couple of SL1200), so now that information technology has make me so much boring, I decided to give it last try.
In the beginning I must confess a little disorientation. A lot of things changed, from the quality of music to the technology for playing it... You know, words like CDJ, MP3, Memory Card and so on was quite disowned in '90s Happy, laughing
Now my setup is a couple of SL1200 (inseparable I said Happy, laughing), a couple of good HDT 4.5 (American Audio turntables) and a couple of CDI500 (American Audio CD Players).
In the near future I would like to gain some more performance playing CD records (even if I continue to prefer Vinyl sound...) but I'm very undecided between Technics SL-DZ1200 and Pioneer CDJ1000 MK3.
I hope to find my way with your help but basically I hope to have good time sharing a common passion Happy, laughing

Apologize for any grammatical error in this and future post. English is not my language. I do my best Happy, laughing

Hi DeejayCC,

Welcome here at DJResource. You do e pretty nice job with your english, nothing wrong with it Winking my eye

If you search around on this forums you will find plenty of information about the CDJ-1000MK3 and the SLDZ-1200. There are also allready some comparissing topic, but is all comes down to this one thing: What do YOU like about a certain CD player.

I like the CDJ for it's simplicity, Waveform, Memorycard and jogwheel. Others might find the jogwheel of the SLDZ very nice, but for me it misses Displays with information, accuracy and speed of handling, on the other hand, it looks nice

Anyway, enjoy your stay !
