:d sorry. i just saw the last topic about the final scratch but i wanna ask if i have a HERCULES DJ CONSOLE and i have the turntables or cd players if i buy the timecode vinyle ( virtual dj ) that let u do same as the job of final scratch ( as i understood ) DOES IT WORK ?
look man i have the HERCULES DJ CONSOLE in place of ( the final scratch machine ) cuz u can plug the hercules dj console in USB prot and the VIRTUAL DJ timecode vinyle are in place of the vinyle of the final scratch am asking if i buy the timecode vinyle of the VIRTUAL DJ and i put them on my turntables and i plug the turtables in the hercules dj console MK2 does the vinyle work ? ? check this website and see http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/
In the website they put for u the ASIO is like the final scratch just a machine to plug in the turntables and plug it in USB my question is can i put the hercules DJ console in place of the ASIO and work on the VINYLE of virtual DJ
This is what u need... The hercules DJ Console has nothing to do with Vinyl Emulation + DJ Decks.. It is just another type of controler which you can use to run DJ Decks instead of vinyl emulation. Its either one or the other.. hope that helps.

yes, I think so, any Time code vinyl should work. Time code Vinyl is basically a song, which is used as a message.. i.e. It sends a signal which changes every Milli second, The software recognizes this change and aligns the song (In MP3 format on your PC) accordingly. Btw, your going to need an external mixer as well in the above setup.. unless u want to use the one in DJ Decks or Virtual DJ.
well anyway i was thinking to add to my booth 2 cdj 1000mk3 djm 800 4 channel and i have the 2 turnable am gonna get the vinyle and now ur telling me the maya :S but anyway wht is that dj decks software :S ?
DJ Decks is similar to Virtual DJ... they are both software Controllers for MP3.. As far as i know they can both be controlled with Timecode Vinyl. However if u have 2 CDJ 1000MK3s i dont know why you would want to use Time code Vinyl? Just burn everything onto CDs and your sorted!
(Btw the Maya is the soundcard which has enough inputs and outputs to work with the timecode Vinyl.. Generally your Final Scratch Amp would do this for you, however if you dont want to buy one of them a Maya 44 Soundcard or equivalent will suffice!)

well am gonna use the timecode vinyle just cuz i have a HD of about 250 GB right now and i always download u know about 75 % on cd's and the rest i mix on the computer in 1st and 2nd in my first steps u know am not gonna work in the right way directly wen i get the 1000mk3 i have to practice
anyway man the hercules DJ console can take the place of the final scratch and the place of maya 44 i saw it in virtual options and in hercules otpions on the website :D

Yup, u dont need FS if u want to use the Hercules controller, which 1 have u got ?? Mk1 or MK2? Have not heard anytthing about the MK2 before.. is it any good?
well man the mk2 is and sound card that have ( 2 line ins phone- lin in ) and 4 line outs 2 ( left-right ) and 2 ( small speakers jacks ) plus a mix plug in and a headphone plug in + the top controler 2sides and the options like the mk1
its a such great machine and easy to take :D
