For all the owners of a CDJ-1000 MK3, there is a firmware upgrade coming.

Firmware upgrade for the CDJ-1000MK3 CD Deck will be available from 20th August.

The key improvement of this upgrade is to the stability of playback BPM display accuracy.

The new firmware (version 2.00) is only applicable to the CDJ-1000MK3 to upgrade units running older firmware versions (1.20, 1.40 and 1.50).

The upgrade can be obtained on CD-Rom by visiting your local authorised Pioneer shop from 20th August. Alternatively, you can download the firmware and burn to disc by visiting http://www.pioneer.eu/software from 20th August.

Full instructions on how to check your firmware version and perform the simple upgrade are included with the CD-Rom or you can be found at http://www.pioneer.eu/software

What do you think about Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3 Firmware Upgrade ??

Good to see Pioneer starts with upgrades wich can be done by the user, but I think they'll only use it for errors and little bugs, not for updates (but they don't need to be updated...)

I have 1.50 on both players yeah!!...

Now wait for 2.00 :D

1.81 because the 1.81 was the beta-test version of V2. I took the pictures from my CDJ and that happened to have version 1.81 Winking my eye

I know this might confuse :s people but both CDJ's I have here we're testing this pre-version so taking a picture with v1.5 or 1.4 was not possible for me.

Will there also be an update for the Pioneer cdj-800mkII soon?
Tim1978    posted on 18-08-2006 22:14
@Dj_Danny => That's just what I was wondering. My CDJ-800MK2's are currently running firmware V1.50.

So, can someone answer Danny's question? I'm just as curious...

I update my CDJ's !! Very good improvments realised by Pionner on BPM calculation !! I'm testing calculation for Hardstyle to Hardcore music :
- BPM is fixed after approximatively 5 seconds for a music on memory card or not

Nice work Pioneer

Sorry for my bad English

No update has been planned for CDJ800 I believe.. Why, is something wrong with it ?

The 800MK2 doesn't seem to have the apparent BPM detection problems that the 1000MK3 did and as soon as the engineers can address the MT issues, I'm sure we'll see a firmware update for that as well.

2 Lead: Nope, there is nothing wrong with both my cdj-800mkII, but I just wonderd if there will be an update on those, just like the mkIII..

I was just curious, because the update on the cdj-1000mkIII comes pretty soon after it's relase.

Hi

I'm having problems burning the downloaded software upgrade file on to a CD Rom in  ""ISO 9660 CD-ROM file system format" as stated on the Pioneer website.

I have both Nero Express(v7.0) and Sonic Record Now and I can't seem to find the correct option.

Any ideas

Many thanks
Andy

Be aware that the current version is : V2.20.

I use CDBurnerXP Pro, which is a free burn program. You can choose the first option : Burn ISO image and the rest is simple Winking my eye

You should NOT just drop the ISO file in the file area of NERO as this wil definitly not work. You should use the option to Burn a Compilation. Perhaps double clicking the iso file will open it in Nero the right way ?

Sorry to sound like a spaz here, but I've downloaded CD BUrnerXP Pro, clicked on the 1st option to burn ISO image, clicked on the ISO file in the browser, clicked add, then Burn.

As before it coming up with Error when I enter the CD into the CDJ after it shows DOwnload on the screen. I've wasted about 6 CDR's so far. Its driving me mad.

Please help. Do I need to change any of the burn settings. At the top of the screen its showing Joliet in a dropdown.Do I change this to ISO Level 1 or 2?

Lead    posted on 21-03-2007 09:18
Please contact your vendor as the above described methode works for me perfectly and I've made over 20 discs this way and they all work.

The joliet methode should be good by default. Try downloading the file again as it might be corrupted.
