I just became the proud owner of 2 CDJ-800MKII's. somteimes when I am setting a Cue point, the red light appears. When I am pressing the start button the CD starts spinnig but the Cue-point dissapears. How Come?
Is it because I should press the CUE-button longer or shorter? When setting the Cue-point? Or is it something with VBR. It is strange. . .
Anyone who had the same experience?

What do you think about Cue on CDJ-800-MKII ??

This shouldn't be a problem because the Cue methode of the CDJ-800MK2 is the same as for the CDJ-800:

Hold the track (by pressing Play/Pause or touch the Jog Wheel) and press Cue.

The CDJ will set the current point as Cue Point, marking it red in in the Jog Display. It doesn't make a difference if you press it short or longer. It should work the same for audio CD and an MP3 track. Why do you use VBR ??

Disc space is not an issue anymore when playing MP3 so why not just use CBR at th highest bitrate ? This gives the best audio result ?

If i use VBR @ 224 KBPS i think I have a pretty good sound quality. Or should i do 320 Kbps CBR

The higher the bit-rate, the better the sound quality.

I would go for CBR - 320 kbps.
