In about two weeks I will be building a shed bar. You've probably seen them on Facebook. What would you say are the best affordable DJ lights or moving heads
Moving heads in a shed, that is going to be an awesome shed
If you would aim for decent quality the brand Martin might be an option, it delivers proper lights but might be a bit expensive.
More affordable might be lighting from American DJ, not the same quality as the Martins, but much more affordable.
I would suggest also take a look at some more static lights like PAR (with RGB LED) so when in the shed you do not get crazy of all the moving lights and the sound all those motor/engines make all the time. If you are not playing at a (relative) high volume the sound the lighting motors make might be louder than the music you are playing. By putinng PAR lights on the ground and aim them at something light a wall or shelved you still have the party vibe without the annoying sound of servo motors running all the time.
