NETMIX RADIO - DJ CONTEST

   

Label MixDown 2004 The Competition The National Club Industry Association, NetMix Radio and to of the best voted labels by members, 12? Thumper Records and Vicious Circle Records has thrown together a little MixDown Contest. We are inviting everyone to create a mix or track that best uses the samples available in the Sample Library. The competition will begin February 15th and will last for one month until March 15, 2004. Download at least 10 samples from the Sample Library and create an original song or remix of an existing original song in the Music Library (NOT a remix of a copyrighted track!) based on the samples you have chosen. Make a note of which samples you have selected, you'll need the names in order to qualify for the Voting Process. The Rules In order to enter your track, you must be a member of the NCIAA, NetMixRadio or its affiliates. After you have registered and have logged in you will need to Upload your Track Enter the 10 (or more) samples you have used in your track in the description box. Note these Features will only be available During the dates of the competition. (2/15/04 thru 3/15/04). Next, post your ?Notice of Submission in the NetMix Radio XFaders Forum under CONTEST with ?Competition Submission " as the subject and the name of your track you have uploaded in the message body. Voting Process On March 15th, we will then listen to all submissions to make sure they qualify. We will then create a voting booth page for all members to listen and vote for the song they think is best. You can vote for anyone including yourself once per day. The following week, the top 10 will be submitted to the Executives of each label who will vote for the 3 winners. The Winners The top winner will receive a 12 month signature promo mailing from Vicious Circle Recordings, as well as the hottest releases from their other labels, resurection and neonate. Also Included exclusively for DJ Resource Members will be a annual membership to the NCIAA and a 2 hours of free air time on NetMix Radio. Second and Third place winners will receive a NetMix Radio Pro Dj T-Shirt, a free NCIAA Membership and your choice of an autographed album from Vicious Circle Recordings. All Competition Submissions will be aired on NetMix Radio March 20th at 11pm Eastern Standard Time. All of the winners will have their Submissions aired on April 2nd and 3rd at 11pm eastern standard time and will then be submitted to all of NetMix Radio affiliate stations and will have their mix featured during prime times on that station.
