Hi i am thenking of geting a sound rig and DAB seems ok just wonna get your views on them,
i well be geting 2x 15, 4x 12 foll range, and 2x 8" foll range for monters with all amps to go with. 2.2K Rig for £1,000 well just under

DAB or DAP?
i think Dap.. and yes they are Good quality..
and you'r from england? shame you!
it's dap en it is good stuff 
dap is not a very good brand, ok for starting it will be good.
do you want to do more and bigger paty's than dap is a very bad quality.
if you have the money buy jbl its a little bit more expansive but far more better then dap.
and with jbl you could exspand you system, this is not possible with dap.

Total Nonsense !You can Expand every system... and DAP has a Good Quality...They got diferent Price Classes.. and they got everything you need.. so you can expand your whole setup! as long as youve got the money to Buy more ...OK.. JBL is Superb Quality.. but thats what you pay for.. and when You want to go for JBL do so.. but DAP olso has good quality !as long as You know how to work with it. and dont overpower em..and when you need more Power in the future.. you just buy another dap system..and place it next to it.. put an X-Over and all that stuff with it.. (wich DAP Olso Provides in there range)Dap Is Great in Price/Quality ..GreetsZ!

please do your research befor you tel something.dap isnt quality, its nice for your bedroom or very small places not for drive-in.if you want a reliable system DON'T BUY DAP.and what i mean with expanding is that you could place a heavyer speaker (a other model) with your first setup without a sound differents (with dab you will have this) if you have quality gearquality speakers:jblelectro voicedynacordprof sound systemseclerehightechand many morenon quality speakersdapjb systemspowerand othersplease check websites or your local dealer they can tell you what you need, and whats the best for youthe best thing is to spend money on a quality system, because you wuill have longer fun with it.and when your dun using it it will sell better.

This is totally hopeless. Mamo, you compare speakers of price +++++ with price ++, you get where you pay for. For ++ price DAP some nice speakers, also in their ' pro ' department.

this is a dap pro division, but still this isnt quality if you compare with jbl

Therefore you say that you can something compare something with a high price with something that is more budget aimed? Or do I see it incorrect?
And Dap speaker sets ARE expandable. The pro series are recommenden bij some well known people in this word, like the K-122, wich is really good for what you pay for it. And these sets can always be expanden with subs.
JBL is a great brand, but for most starters not affordable, dap is a great solution (Some series!)

if you buy the dap pro serie (quality less dan de standart jbl serie) you pay more money for quality that isnt to compare with jbl, and in this case the jbl is better price and quality

god has spoken!!!!!. tit's for tat... it's true jbl has good stuff for normal price's but dap has also pro audi speakers for more interesting prices. give the chinese manufactors s a class verry expensive speaker..... and the buld the same for less.... no resource kosts an stuff like that..... erveryone do.. it also dap audio...

you don't pay much for the nametag, if you look at a normal jbl set en you compare it with a dap pro set you will see that the jbl speaker is a better speaker
and the probably is the jbl speaker cheaper.
(look at size, inch speaker, spl)

But fact is with A (and B ) brands u ALWAYS pay for the nametag (at least, that's wat my economics book tells me).
Dap simply can't raise prices because of nametag, because their rep simply sux. To much people judge just by name tag, don't look at the name, but look what's inside, DAP has really good speakers.

Thanks guys the larst post by Jorrit is what i thort i have work with DAP Speeker systoms before and thay do kick out a good sound.

i did look at the inside of the speakers, and if you look to you will see that the jbl speaker is a beter brand more quality and lest longer.
jbl is a speaker with a good price becaus its a A brand but you don't pay for it.
look at dap.... you pay lots of money (if you want good dap speakers) and then you better can buy jbl .
i give you the information, do with it what you whant.

Nice Resource.. BUT.. maybe 100 Hard Ones is still too much.. Dap is not only for Bedrooms..They got (just like envie sayz) a very good PRO Range!... this i GOOD relieble stuff.. if You handle you Speakers with care. everything is good..But ok.. im going to get out of this Convers.. you talk like a damn salesman.. maybe you should help Sean with this..Back On Topic PeepsGreetsZ!
