it's a very small room. i wouldn't use much moving light cause it will probably drive you crazy after some time. if ir were you i would buy some led light effects because they don't heat up and they're not very expensive..

What's your budget ?

I would say possible £100 tops, cheaper the better really, yeah are LED jobbys any good ? any links or anything would be appreciated. Cheers for your time

LED is to expensive for your budget.

I'd go for a simple effect like the ADJ Mushroom...

quite pricey im UK too, so shipping would be a lot, looking on ebay quite a lot, reckon a laser would work well within such small confines ?

a cheap smoke machine, laser set up would probably satisfy and maybe some UV paint on the walls with a Black light bulb, just need more ideas etc, cheers

come on guys be inventive lol ...

dont do laser... its dangerous if you're that close. and for 100 quid your not gonna get very far i'm afraid... maybe like 1 or 2 moonflowers you could get for that price...

Laser : when looking for a laser within a tighty budget you will probably end up with a mini-crab or something. A few mW laser... You can probably only see it when looking directly into it. when you put up to much smoke you won't see anything from your laser anymore... Good laser are very expensive.

I would go for a wallflower, Mushroom or any of this type of effects. They cost less and bring more life you your place than a laser.

@ mamo... sorry didn't have my facts straight you're right. However, i dont think that standing 1 m away from a lazer would be all that good for your eyes, let alone pleasant.

I'd say that a 2 x 120 W blacklights + some small effect such as a moonflower or a mushroom would be the best option. but it really depends on the kind of music you want to play, how high the roof is, and all that stuff... if you give a bit more info maybe we can help a bit better.
