I want to buy another set of cdj's but dont know which of the two will be best. Prices are more or less the same. I have no personal experience with any of the two. I know of all the features and how they work but never played on them to get the feel. You people out there should know better from playing with them.

I Cant make up my mind?
Just want to hear other users opion?

ThanksCool

Depends on where you like to use them for. Do you want to work with Rekord Box/midi then I say 350, If You Just Like to use CD's of Usb, I would say 400 Happy, laughing

Hi Faure,
I don't know if you already made any decisions on the cdjs but here is what I can say about it.

In my opinion, the CDJ-350 offers better value for money, especially if you want to take advantage of the improved functions.

Compared to the CDJ-400.. the 350 has :

- Improved and more accurate pitch resolution.
- Improved accurate BPM counter with decimal bpm.
- Rekordbox Compatible
- BEAT Display for matching beats.
- Auto BPM Lock
- Midi/HID Interface
- More accurate jogwheel.

And im sure there has been more things improved.

I Agree with the post above me. The CDJ400 is looking nicer. But the features on de CDJ350 is more of the time of now. Specialy when you gonna play in the clubs.

I'd go for the 350 as well, in my opinion the cdj400 is more for 'fun'. The 350 is a player for a bit more serious dj's and its got loads better/improved features as well.

So to make it more simple:
Toy=400
DJ=350.

*350 hasn't got illuminated jog as well which for me is a big plus, but that's personal*
Oh, and the 'feel'; i think the buttons will react the same, as well as the jog - no difference there besides the layout and design.

Have fun/enjoy

CDJ has the better looks. Wow, great argument!

I'd go for the 350 as I really believe Recordbox is the future. So nice and so easy!

Offtopic:
I was working some tracks in the train last week and this older lady asked if I was preparing a DJ set.
Those were exactly her words haha! She must have been around 70 and could easy tell me what I was doing on my laptop and about her son's dj carreer many years ago and how easy I had it sitting on the train working on Recordbox instead of the heavy vinyls.

Yes it will..

The 350 is definitely more future ready, and its also an advantage that you can prepare your sets with rekordbox because then you can take that usb stick with your playlist to any other CDJ 850.900 or 2000.

I played with them a few times, and they are great for the money.

The 350 (and 850) only works offline with rekordbox (for organising files, creating databases, calculating bpm etc.). No online/live functionality like the CDJ-900 and 2000. So don't expect the same functionality as the big expensive brothers. It's not such a big deal really.

Complete bullshit,? The 400 is no more or no less toy than the 350, and the 350 is o so ugly ! And about?your opinion ...? Have you any experience with one of them or with both ? No ? Than nobody is intresting in your opinion.

Wow..

That is the biggest motivation and best reason Ive ever heard Cool
Anyways.. if you look at the capabilities and options for the future i would definetly go for the CDJ-350.

Some people say Pioneer CDJ-350s look ugly.. the may not be the best looking CDJ players ive ever seen.. but its the functions and possibilities that matters most in mine opinion, not just the design.

Oftewel, twijfel jij ook over de 350 of wil je m eens proberen. Pioneer houd bij het NS Try-Out festival dus workshops. voor meer info even op de pioneer site benelux kijken
