Op de site van FearFM (www.fear.fm) staat dat ze misschien weer in de lucht gaan!

It has not gone unnoticed that another radio station will go offline. Another painful memory that reminds us of the moment we were forced to stop our activities. We think this slowly hollows out the scene and that it is not acceptable!
Since Fear.FM has gone offline we went searching for possibilities to come back. Up till today we still get a lot of positive comments on Fear.FM, which gives us the power and motivation to fight back and search for the right solutions.
But there is light at the end of the darkness! We have met with potential partners who see a future in Fear.FM. Even though there are still enough obstacles ahead of us, we are convinced that with the right support, Fear.FM has a new chance of existence.
Before the point is there that Fear.FM is back, we have to convince sponsors and/or partners that Fear.FM has a right to exist. To do this we need you to subscribe/follow/like Fear.FM on the provided social media pages. With the amount of members we hope to convince sponsors and/or partners that Fear.FM has to be back!

UPDATE:

A while ago we started the action 'Do you want Fear.FM back?. This was an initiative to see how much of the people on all Social Networks would want Fear.FM to be back. We were pretty happy to see that it was a substantial amount. The amount of responses was so big that it got the attention of some sponsors and other interested partners. They really saw a possible resurrection of Fear.FM and wanted to contribute in getting it back to the listeners.
However, the sponsors and partners want to make sure Fear.FM still has the quality of one of the ?World?s leading radio station in the harder styles of music?. So we came up with a way to prove to all the sponsors that we can still provide our listeners with some of the best shows, live-sets and everything else that the harder styles has to offer.
We want to show we can bring back some of the finest Jump/Tek, Hardstyle and Hardcore. To do this we need your help. Send in your best demo and convince everyone out there that Fear.FM can still be the #1.

Here is how you can participate:

• Create a mix of 25-30 minutes.
• Upload it to?////www.djresource.eu/Forum/topic/denied/
• Go to?http://helpdesk.fear.fm/?and submit a ticket under the category Demo with the name ?We want Fear.FM back mix?.

Provide us with the following data:

• Your full name.
• Your age.
• Your DJ Alias..
• A link to your Partyflock DJ page (if present).
• Your experience as a DJ.
• The gear you used to record the set.
• The full tracklist of the set.

Rules:

• Do not use music that you are not allowed to play or that has not been released officially. Tracks that are given away for Free by the author of the track are allowed to be used.
• The minimum quality of the mix must be 192 kbps in MP3 format.
• No computermixes like VDJ are allowed.

Wat ik nog ben vergeten te melden is dat er misschien nog iets anders meespeelt bij FFM om dit te vermelden, maar dit is puur gokken he, geen woorden van FFM zijde of wat dan ook.

Een deejay die goed kan mixen met cd spelers of vinyl, ongeacht welke stijl, is daar vaak jaren mee bezig geweest om zich te perfectioneren. Zijn eigen stijl vinden in de wirwar van muziek stijlen tegenwoordig. De juiste platen bij elkaar proberen te vinden. Hard werken om de juiste apparatuur te kunnen?kopen, juist om zich te perfectioneren. Als laatste natuurlijk, zichzelf steeds beter bekwamen in het mixen.
Uiteindelijk, al zijn geperfectioneerde en aangeleerde kunsten voor een publiek vertonen en laten horen!!

Alleen dat verhaal?al is vaak een langdurig proces.
Mensen die deze weg dus hebben bewandeld zijn dus in 9 van de 10 gevallen de ECHTE deejays die overal moeite voor doen en het allemaal serieus oppakken. Het maakt ze niet uit wat het kost, hoe lang het gaat duren, zij werken naar een doel toe wat zij zichzelf gesteld hebben, en blijven daar aan werken omdat zij helemaal leven voor de muziek en het mixen.

Welnu, de digi jocks hebben het vaak vele male makkelijker. Juist omdat het zo makkelijk is, zijn ze vaak ook wat jonger. Er zijn immers al 'deejays' van 12 a 13 jaar die leuke setjes kunnen maken op de pc. Deze mensen zullen op die leeftijd nooit zelf een djm of cdj kunnen betalen, maar met VDJ etc kan het allemaal stukken makkelijker.
De muziek word overal van het internet geplukt, in het programma gezet en hoppa, we gaan aan de gang.
Helaas merk ik, dat zij, doordat dingen makkeliker gaan tegenwoordig, ook de hele instelling en mentaliteit van dit soort 'deejays' makkelijker word.
Als eigenaar van een web station heb ik aan den lijve meegemaakt hoe makkelijk deze zogenaamde 'deejays' afspraken aan hun laars lappen. Hoe makkelijk zij zomaar stoppen met draaien, en niet eens de moeite nemen om het netjes te melden. Dat heeft te maken met leeftijd, instelling en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
Je merkt dat deejays, die gewend zijn om de dingen makkelijk voor elkaar te krijgen, zaken veel minder serieus nemen. Zij zijn op een hele andere manier, en met een heel andere instelling bezig met 'mixen'.
Een deejay die jaren bezig is geweest wil met alle trots laten horen aan een publiek, of dat nu via een medium of op een feest is maakt niet uit, wat hij allemaal kan, en hoe goed hij is.
De gemiddelde digi jock heeft dat vele malen minder.
Natuurlijk zijn er altijd uitzonderingen te vinden op dit verhaal, maar ik heb de afgelopen jaren gemerkt, dat de deejays, die met gewone analoge spullen bezig zijn, veel serieuzer zijn, veel meer moeite doen om iets goeds te maken, veel trotser zijn op hun eindproduct en dit ook met gepaste trots willen presenteren aan het publiek.
Ze staan echt voor wat zij doen.
Wellicht speelt er zoiets mee bij FFM, om te zorgen dat die 'verkeerde' mensen (aan wie jij je kunt dood-ergeren) weg blijven bij het station, en er uiteindelijk een serieuze groep deejays over blijft, met wie ze goed kunnen werken, en waar ze op kunnen vertrouwen?
Zeker een station dat met een herstart begint heeft niets aan flapdrollen die alleen je tijd verprutsen, waar je alleen narigheid van hebt, waar je achteraan moet blijven hollen etc. Je kunt je tijd en aandacht wel beter gebruiken dacht ik?
