??? * CD/DVD Data Playback Play back user-created CD-Rs or DVD-Rs loaded with MP3 or WAV music files using a compatible USB CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
??? * Main Playback Screen The brightly illuminated LCD main playback screen displays info on any track in the catalog, showing everything from the essentials such as artist, track title, pitch, time elapsed/remaining to detailed information including file format (MP3 or WAV), genre, and track length.
??? * File Explorer Mode Allows users to browse through files and directories as if they were using a computer, showing them the directory structure and file names exactly as they exist on the storage device. DJs with their own organizational system can navigate it quicker than using the database.
??? * Firmware Upgradeable The HDC?s internal software can be upgraded simply by downloading new software from the Cortex website.
??? * Storage Device Selection Take a client?s request from his iPod or USB memory flash drive, plug it in, and play it right away without having to reboot the unit. With two USB ports (and support for up to 4 devices when using a USB hub), the HDC unit allows users to connect and recognize multiple storage devices to access a variety of separate music databases simultaneously.
??? * Cue Point Management Cue points can be set like a normal CD player, so that the DJ can return to a certain time in the track just by pressing a button. Cue points may also be saved permanently to the connected storage device, allowing them to load with a track automatically.

Is inderdaad een erg leuk en compact licht apparaat, kan zo een 500 gieg HD aan en dan heb je alle muziek die je wil mee in WAV (speelt ie ook gewoon)

Is ideaal tostel voor on the road of voor lekker goedkoop erbij een MP3 speler met alle toeters en bellen (loops, pitch, scratch,...)

hoe werkt deze qua pitch nauwkeurigheid, en snel browsen/laden van tracks op de hdd ? hoe zit het met de geluidskwaliteit van (320 kbps) mp3 op grote geluidssystemen?

Gewoon goed.

Het laden gaat echt heel snel!

Voila, hier moet ik bij deze antwoorden gewoon instemmen.

Geluidskwaliteit is gewoon goed en laden gaat ook goed!
Ik heb hem eens op een zware actieve HK set gehangen en ik moet zeggen dat ik erg te spreken was van de geluidskwaliteit

Je mag hem thuis komen testen, ik heb twee quad monitors, geeft een idee van het geluid...

Ik snap niet echt wat het voor apparaat is, is het een dubbele cd-speler met andere functies er nog bij ofzo? Mag ik een beetje uitleg ?

Media Player. Muziekjes op een harde schijf en dan speel je ze daar vandaan af .

Als je op Youtube eens kijkt, krijg je de hele uitleg van het apparaat.

Is een Speler die met alle USB dingen over weg kan (USB stick met MP3, HD met MP3/wav/..., USB cd speler,...)
Iets in de aard van een Denon HD2500 (zonder interne HD) of een Numakr DDS of D2

Deze is helemaal de deur uit!

Nu alleen nog maar een Pioneer EFX-500 in de aanbeiding!
