There is a lot of speculations going on, also by artistic people with photoshop and a creative mind. They come op with the most outrages designs. Here are some of them which I've been able to find sofar :

First Try, added the Pioneer logo to make it look real. Only added hotcue visible.
Second guess, mainly optical stuff and some copying of buttons.

Up until now the kind of option of deejaying is, you write all your music out on a post-it note and burn a cd and after a while it gets kind of tedious. The other option ofcourse is to play of DVS, if you want to stick with the traditional deejaying method, so you can use your laptop and do it like that.

But I'm not really a massive fan of like staring at the laptop screen so much. So, what I'd still use my laptop in my sets for effects and things like that. It's really great to know, be able to just look at the player and go through my tracks on that and not have to burn those to cd's or have to stare at the laptop screen.

So it's kind of bringing the deejay back towards the crowd a little bit and putting the element of traditional deejaying and the performance of it all.

Up to date really with modern techology its a, I think it's a nice mix of the two things and yeah it's kind of super convenient and also you know, pretty advanced.

I really can't wait to get it stuck in.

Hey what's up! I'm Armin van Buuren. As you guys know I've switched from vinyl to cd and now the next revolution is here. The new players are absolutely fantastic.

This is really revolutionary for me because I, you normally play longer sets, eight hours. So now I can really prepare my set you know, in advance in the computer and get every thing ready in my books, but still be able to be on the fly, play some odd cd or a guy that comes in with a usb stick with a track he's just finished.

You can prepare your deejay set, your whole box and everything on your laptop in your hotel room, and on the airport.

And guys, I seriously can't wait to start playing with these new Pioneer things.

Ja heh, en weer je lijstje aanvullen met:

midi, al zal het meer voor studio toepassingen zijn, omdat er al HID is voor de gewone DJ software.

Plus ook nog automatisch tracklist maken van afgespeelde usb/SD nummers.

Je lijst heeft nu dan 14 nieuwe dingen of verbeteringen. Mag nu het verschil met de CDJ-1000 meer dan 400 euro worden?

En daar betaal je echt onmundig veel voor (t is net als dat je veel voor Appletjes betaald)

 

voor apple betaal je meer omdat het minder vekocht wordt

Dat is natuurlijk onzin. In een apple zitten gewoon onderdelen die op grote schaal commercieel beschikbaar zijn dus kwa hardware kosten zou een apple niet veel hoger moeten liggen als een normale high end laptop.
Waar betaal je dan wel voor? Design en het merk...

zowiezo elke discussie over Mac vs PC maar ook Pioneer vs whatever vind ik nutteloos.

Het is een leuk nieuw speeltje die ze hebben bedacht. Mag dan allemaal niet nieuw zijn, maar nu zit het wel op 1 machine. ik kijk het lekker aan, en kan nu over paar maand misschien wel mijn booth uitbreiden met 2/3 CDJ-1000 MK3's

Of het clubstandaard word merken we vanzelf, valt nu nog geen zinnig woord over te zeggen.

Ik ga in elk geval op marktplaats op jacht naar een 2e DJ set staat alleen in de slaapkamer nog geen nameloijk (en in de keuken/badkamer/schijthok maar daar is dan weer geen ruimte)

lijkt me wel. De eerste 900 reacties zijn puur speculaties en heb je niet veel aan als je info over de cdj-2000/cdj-900 zoekt. Moet je eerst proberen uit te vinden waar het eindelijk over de daadwerkelijke cd-spelers gaat. Daarnaast verdienen de cdj-2000 en cdj-900 wel een eigen forum-topic (en geen gezamelijke zoals deze), net als alle vorige cdj's.
