There is a lot of speculations going on, also by artistic people with photoshop and a creative mind. They come op with the most outrages designs. Here are some of them which I've been able to find sofar :

First Try, added the Pioneer logo to make it look real. Only added hotcue visible.
Second guess, mainly optical stuff and some copying of buttons.

Up until now the kind of option of deejaying is, you write all your music out on a post-it note and burn a cd and after a while it gets kind of tedious. The other option ofcourse is to play of DVS, if you want to stick with the traditional deejaying method, so you can use your laptop and do it like that.

But I'm not really a massive fan of like staring at the laptop screen so much. So, what I'd still use my laptop in my sets for effects and things like that. It's really great to know, be able to just look at the player and go through my tracks on that and not have to burn those to cd's or have to stare at the laptop screen.

So it's kind of bringing the deejay back towards the crowd a little bit and putting the element of traditional deejaying and the performance of it all.

Up to date really with modern techology its a, I think it's a nice mix of the two things and yeah it's kind of super convenient and also you know, pretty advanced.

I really can't wait to get it stuck in.

Hey what's up! I'm Armin van Buuren. As you guys know I've switched from vinyl to cd and now the next revolution is here. The new players are absolutely fantastic.

This is really revolutionary for me because I, you normally play longer sets, eight hours. So now I can really prepare my set you know, in advance in the computer and get every thing ready in my books, but still be able to be on the fly, play some odd cd or a guy that comes in with a usb stick with a track he's just finished.

You can prepare your deejay set, your whole box and everything on your laptop in your hotel room, and on the airport.

And guys, I seriously can't wait to start playing with these new Pioneer things.

Ja, maar de nieuwe kan nog steeds cd's afspelen. Dat wordt in filmpje 2 gezegd. Teaser ad is ook een slot in met verlichting z.a. op de DVJ's te zien.

Latest news before tomorrow's launch...

DJ TechTools has a good looking render (under the heading "CDJ-2000" even though the picture calls itself CDJ-1000 mk4) which I believe strongly might be very close to the truth (closer than my guess, I think) because there is something very sincere and nothing too farfetched in the picture. They've used my graphics on the front page, which gives me a sort of warm and happyhappyjoyjoy-feeling inside.

Skratchworx's Gizmo has also posted a "last minute guesses"-article. I simply gotta love the graphics they've chosen to use - it sums quite clearly what the waiting has been like

ja maar ik vind het niet gek dat die pic gemaakt is,
die laatste 2 worder er even snel neergezet vlak voor de bekentmakings datum..
waar eigelijk weinig mensen meer op zitten te wachten zo vlak voor de 17de

Een van de replies had wel een goede vraag. Zal de nieuwe software freeware zijn? Als een huidige DVS DJ eraan komt met een hard drive in een club met de pioneer-x, terwijl hij thuis traktor heeft. Zal hij iets speciaals moeten doen of wordt het plug 'n play usb?

Goede hoax of echt?

 

deze komt volgens mij dik in de buurt, in teaser 6 ofzo, waar je de play/que knoppen niet ziet, kan het het zijn dat ze ze weg-geblurred hebben, de knoppen zijn ook zwart dus zal niet zo moelijk zijn bovendien zijn die knoppen boven de monitor bijna net zo als op de official teaser van pioneer ?USB

Zal de nieuwe software freeware zijn?

Als een huidige DVS DJ eraan komt met een hard drive in een club met de pioneer-x, terwijl hij thuis traktor heeft. Zal hij iets speciaals moeten doen of wordt het plug 'n play usb?

 
Voor een brede acceptatie van het apparaat zou je denken van wel. Hangt misschien ook af van wat de software allemaal kan en of het een prijs rechtvaardigd.
Ik ben ook wel benieuwd of je met ??n HD door kan of dat je er ook gewoon 4 moet meenemen als je 4 CDJ's wilt gebruiken. En zijn ze onderling ook nog gekoppelt. Pioneer heeft nog niets gezegt over het automatisch gelijk laten lopen van tracks, iets wat met alle DVS systemen mogelijk is tegenwoordig en wat door veel DJ's erg gewaardeerd wordt omdat ze daardoor nieuwe mogelijkheden hebben.

Nog maar een paar uurtjes!

Morgenvroeg zet ik voordat ik naar school ga ff de pc op, kijken ofdat lead al wakker is en hopelijk is er dan nieuws
Zoniet probeer 'k smiddags wel is uit hoe dat wappen nu moet op m'n SE W960i...
Ik gok trouwens nog steeds op een MEP-1000, en de machine gaat een mix worden van een CDJ-400, MEP-7000 en een CDJ-1000 (of misschien wel CDJ-800?). Achja, we zien morgen wel zeker?!

haha wat een onzin site zeg... hoe kun je nou iets aanbieden als je niet eens de naam en een prijs en de specificaties niet weet... ik kan ook wel gebakken lucht verkopen op die manier.
