Audio CDs need to be 44.1kHz 16 bits audio. Your burn programm will convert this for you.
Although this can store much better sounds than 190kbps MP3 but you burn proggie can never improve sound quality.
Look at it like this: a bum (MP3 audio) need to go somewhere, it stays a bum weather it travels by foot or Ferrari...
I would say the you need at least 190, preferably 256kbps. I would only go for WAV or 320kbps. You might not hear the difference at home, but you will in a club
