I've never heard about, but there are a dozen more possibilities to create some sort of hum.

A hum in an audio system is often the result of some sort of ground loop. If I read this topic correctly he's connecting it "right into the wall socket, without a mixer". I think there is a big chance that the error could be in the wiring. Or it could be as simple as rotating the powerplug a half rotation.

An perhaps something went wrong during production with this specific unit. As I read now the unit is allready on its way to be checked by Pioneer Service.

I've connected my EFX on a large number of placed and I've never experienced this.

but it is 100% efx becouse when you press bypass button the hum goes away, i think there is something wrong with the a/d converters, I am mad becouse I bought a new equipment and now I have to go wiht it to service Unhappy

Shit happens... also when you purchase a brand new Lambourginni there could be something wrong with the spark plugs Winking my eye

I'm sure service department will sovle this issue for you !
