why do you have such expensive gear, when you don't even know how to connect it
just read the manual! that will clarify alot! if you look on the back of your mixer, you can see the inputs 1, 2, 3, 4. just connect a CDJ to one of them!
yes, you can use master 2 to connect it to the external mixer, but you can use every other ouput aswell!

yes, you can connect it from your booth output, but NOT from the send/return connections! these are for an external effects unit (like EFX 1000)!
i should go for master 1, because it has VU led's and i think those are very useful to control the volume so the sound won't be distorded.
btw, you can also connect your CDJ's to the digital inputs if you like!

So you mean the XLR balance cables would be the good choice for external mixer?
the one with 6.35mm jack or the normal once which are used for Mic also...

if your mixer has XLR inputs it's good! if not, you have to use an output with RCA cables!

Just to wrap things up...

CDJ's are connected to the DJM-800 by a digital (single) RCA cable in a perfect world. (use the small switch at the back to enable the digital inoput on a certain channel.

If not available, just use the standard rad/white RCA cables to connect the CDJ analogue to the mixer to the LINE or CD channel.

The XLR balanced output goes to the external mixer or amplifiers.
The Booth output (balanced Jack or unbalanced RCA (red/white)) goes to the booth amplifiers.

The Send/Return is used to hook up external effect units.

For scratching you set the switch below each fader to A or B-side of the crossfader (True is bypassing the crossfader) and you can scratch between A and B.
