Not quite sure if this section is the right one... but.

I need to know if 35 degrees is ok to put a CDJ1000 on?

I'm building a shelf at 35 degrees with a 2cm tall stop block on the front... (I mean steep 35 degrees) I'm just wondering how safe my equipment is gonna be at that angle??? Dad thinks its unsafe and will fall off when in use (or not) but I think otherwise.

Thanks in advance

look in the dj booth sections, its ok to put your cdj's like that.
you can tilt them to 45degrees max.

Looked at the booths and some people appear to have built units that hold their CDJs at about 35 degrees.  :S

Anyone agree or disagree with this angle?

35 is fine, 45 is max

I thought the max was 23 degrees?
If you go higher, there is a change that your (laser and cd reading equip.) gets damaged.
But I think if you go 35, it's no problem, the 23 is only theoretically I guess...
I have a rack that has a 30 degree tilt to, And I have it almost 2 years now... No problemo

I wouldn't tilt it to much. can't believe it works nice that way.

I have my CDJ-1000 MK3s sitting at 37 degree angle, and they play with no problems what so ever.

The CDJ1000MK3 and all?the other CDJ en DVJ play in any angle you want to put them in to. 35 en even 45 is no problem for a pioneer CDJ of the last 10 Years. Even if you put hold them upside down they still have no problem playing

It's ok to put it that tilted, but the manual says maximum 15 degrees.
Let the BASS be louder
